The Ottawa 67's are heating up their already competitive division.

Tyler Toffoli scored twice and assisted on two others as the Ottawa 67's upset the Kitchener Rangers 6-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.

Both of Toffoli's goals came during a four-goal second-period outburst by the red-hot 67's, who won their fifth-straight game. Ottawa is 7-1-2 in their last 10.

"Our whole team's confidence is really high," Toffoli said. "My linemates, (Cody) Lindsay and (Dalton) Smith, we're playing real well together. We're going hard to the net, we're working hard in the corners and all of us are putting up the points."

Ottawa scored three times in a 3:31 span early in the period that resulted in the Rangers pulling goaltender Mavric Parks after he allowed four goals on 19 shots.

The win puts Ottawa within one point of the Peterborough Petes and Kingston Frontenacs, who sit on top of the East Division, separated only by tie-breakers.
