Green's winning goal leads Rebels to 3-2 win over Chiefs

RED DEER, Alta. - Nathan Green's ninth goal of the season midway through the third period was the winner as the Red Deer Rebels edged the Spokane Chiefs 3-2 in a Western Hockey League game Saturday.

Adam Kambeitz and Landon Ferraro also scored for Red Deer (12-12-0), while Tyler Johnson notched both goals for Spokane (13-8-1).

Rebels netminder Darcy Kuemper made 34 saves. Michael Tadjdeh stopped 20 shots for the Chiefs.
