Akeson's hat trick leads Kitchener Rangers in 8-1 rout of Kingston

KINGSTON, Ont. - Jason Akeson's hat trick and assist led the Kitchener Rangers as they toppled the Kingston Frontenacs 8-1 in Ontario Hockey League play Friday night.

Ryan Murphy had a goal and two assists for Kitchener(16-4-3), while Matthew Tipoff, Jeff Skinner, Jonathan Jasper, and Shane Prince added markers.

Michael Fine had the only goal for Kingston (12-12-2).
