MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Stefan Elliott's ninth goal of the season was the game-winner as the Saskatoon Blades beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-1 in Western Hockey League play Friday.
Brent Benson, Josh Nicholls and Walker Wintoneak also scored for the Blades (19-3-3) who led 3-0 after two periods.
Antonin Honejsek scored his fifth goal of the season early in the third period for the Warriors.
Jeff Bosch stopped 17 of 20 shots in goal for the Warriors (15-9-1) before making way for Brandon Glover at the start of the third period.
Steven Stanford made 26 saves for the Blades.
The Warriors out-shot the Blades 14-4 in the third period as they pressed to get back in the game.
