SARNIA, Ont. - Richard Panik and Adam Henrique each scored twice for Windsor as the Spitfires thumped the Sarnia Sting 7-1 in Ontario Hockey League play Friday.
Taylor Hall, Adam Wallace and Kenny Ryan also scored for the Spitfires (20-3-3), who outshot the Sting 57-14. Cam Fowler added three assists, while Ryan Ellis added two of his own. Kale Kerbashian scored the only goal for Sarnia (10-13-1).
Troy Passingham made 13 saves to pick up the win for the Spitfires.
Adam Courchaine started for the Sting but was pulled after allowing three goals on 15 shots. Shayne Campbell went the rest of the way, stopping 38 of 42 shots.
