NEW YORK –- The National Hockey League® today announced the immediate availability of the official NHL® Internet browser toolbar, available as a free download from NHL.com.

Part of the League's broader strategy to serve fan passion on all platforms, the official NHL toolbar supports Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari to give fans 24x7 access to NHL.com from their browser, no matter where they are surfing online.

The NHL toolbar provides direct access to NHL.com from anywhere on the Web. Hockey fans around the world will be able to instantly access their favorite NHL content, including live games, breaking news, deals and discounts, and much more. The new toolbar also gives fans the ability to search all of NHL.com from anywhere on the Web, making it simple and easy for fans to find the additional NHL content they want.

The NHL.com toolbar is free to download and no personal information is required for download. Installation completes in seconds, and fans can tailor the toolbar's function to create a completely customized user interface.
