Avs look for more on Sunday

Two games are on tap for Sunday, and both promise to be entertaining.

At 5 p.m. ET, the Atlanta Thrashers will look to bounce back from Saturday's 6-3 loss on Long Island as they'll host the St. Louis Blues at Philips Arena. St. Louis (5-6-3) was extremely competitive on Saturday, but came up short in a 2-1 shootout loss against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wachovia Center.

Three hours after that game begins, the Colorado Avalanche will look to continue their remarkable start as they will take on the Edmonton Oilers at the Pepsi Center. Colorado (12-3-2), which is 6-0 on home ice, was idle on Saturday. Edmonton (7-8-1) has lost three in a row.
