REGINA - Jordan Eberle scored the shootout winner to help the Regina Pats pull off a 4-3 victory over the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League Friday night.
Jason Gardiner had two goals for Regina (8-9-2), while Killian Hutt had a marker of his own.
Gaelan Patterson led Saskatoon (15-3-3) with two markers, and Burke Gallimore also scored.
The win ends a seven-game winning streak for Saskatoon and marks the second time Regina has beaten the league's top team in a shootout at home this season.
Gardiner scored twice within two minutes to force the extra period.
