Tochkin's shootout winner takes Silvertips over Edmonton 3-1

EDMONTON - Kellan Tochkin scored in the shootout to lift the Everett Silvertips to a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League action on Sunday afternoon.

Tochkin also scored in regulation for Everett (9-4-0), while netminder Kent Simpson turned aside 37 shots.

Michael St. Croix was the lone goal-scorer for Edmonton (7-9-3), Lanigan made 38 saves in his fifth start of the season.
