TORONTO - Windsor Spitfires forward Taylor Hall was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Wednesday.
Hall had 10 points (six goals, four assists) and a plus-7 rating in three games last week.
Defenceman Charles-Olivier Roussel of the Shawinigan Cataractes and forward Brandon Kozun of the Calgary Hitmen were also considered.
Matt Hackett of the Plymouth Whalers was named CHL goaltender of the week. He won both of his starts last week, posting a save percentage of .987 with one shutout.
Jeff Bosch of the Moose Jaw Warriors and Kevin Poulin of the Victoriaville Tigres were runners-up.
