NEW YORK (AP) -Devin Setoguchi scored two of San Jose's six consecutive goals and the Sharks took advantage of New York backup goalie Steve Valiquette in a 7-3 comeback victory Monday night that snapped the Rangers' seven-game winning streak.

Chris Drury and rookie defenseman Michael Del Zotto staked the Rangers to the early lead against goalie Evgeni Nabokov, who finished with 27 saves.

Brad Staubitz and Dany Heatley got San Jose (5-3-1) even before the period was over and the Sharks scored three goals in the second on only 10 shots at Valiquette.

No. 1 netminder Henrik Lundqvist took over in the third for Valiquette, who allowed five goals on 18 shots, and allowed goals to Ryan Vesce and Patrick Marleau.

New York (7-2) hadn't lost since a season-opening defeat at Pittsburgh. The Rangers allowed more than three goals in a game for the first time this season.

DALLAS (AP) - Ryan Smyth had a power-play goal and two assists, Justin Williams added a goal and an assist, and road-weary Los Angeles snapped a three-game losing streak.

Anze Kopitar and Wayne Simmonds scored, and Jonathan Quick made 29 saves as the Kings wrapped up a six-game trip.

The Kings (5-4) scored three straight goals in the second period while outshooting the Stars 18-4.

Rookie Jamie Benn scored for Dallas (3-2-3), and Marty Turco had 28 saves.

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Nikolai Khabibulin made 39 saves to lead Edmonton and keep Vancouver winless on the road this season.

Sam Gagner's third-period goal was the game-winner for the Oilers (5-2-1), who have won four of five. Patrick O'Sullivan scored Edmonton's other goal and assisted on Gagner's midway through the period.

Kyle Wellwood looked to have scored with the extra attacker in the final second to tie the game, but a video review determined time had expired before the puck crossed the goal line.

Steve Bernier scored for the Canucks (3-5-0) who are 0-4 on the road.
