Watch the Hawks play Davos on

Monday, 09.28.2009 / 9:52 AM / 2009 Compuware NHL Premiere

Hockey fans can see the Chicago Blackhawks in action against HC Davos in Zurich today right here at, starting at 2:15 p.m. ET.

The Blackhawks are playing Davos today in an exhibition game prior to Tuesday's Victoria Cup match against ZSC Lions, also in Zurich.

For the Hawks, these exhibitions represent the last tune-up before they meet the Florida Panthers Friday in their 2009-10 season opener in Helsinki as part of the Compuware NHL Premiere Challenge.

Chicago coach Joel Quenneville told's Shawn Roarke that the unique circumstances of this game -- playing against an unknown opponent on a larger ice surface less than 72 hours after travelling to another continent -- will not factor in his appraisal of his team.

"I think this team we're playing tonight is a pretty good hockey team," Quenneville said. "They are fast and they can make plays. We expect some time in our end and we expect some challenges."

He's been one of our top players all year. Tonight he was by far our best player. There wasn't anybody in the same universe as him.
