PORTLAND, Ore. - Luke Walker, Travis Bobbee and Joe Morrow each had a goal and an assist to lead the Portland Winter Hawks over the Prince George Cougars 5-1 in Western Hockey League play Sunday night.
Portland (3-1-0) also got goals from Riley Boychuk and Ryan Johansen.
Portland went 4-for-6 on the power play. Prince George was 0-3 with the man advantage.
The Winter Hawks got the first goal at 23 seconds of the game then scored three power-plays goals in a row to finish the scoring in the first period. They added their fourth power-play goal in the third.
Marek Viedensky scored the lone goal for Prince George (2-3-0).
Cougars goalie James Priestner was pulled after allowing four goals on 16 shots. Michael Salmon came in at 16:29 of the first period and stopped 25 shots in relief.
Kurtis Mucha made 21 saves to earn the victory for the Winter Hawks.
