Reigning NHL scoring champion and playoff MVP Evgeni Malkin paid a visit to season-ticket holder Eric Davidson and his family Monday afternoon at his McDonald home to deliver his 2009-10 season ticket package.

Malkin was greeted at the front door by Davidson, his wife Gwen, and the couple’s two young, adopted Russian children, Zack and Eli. Both children wore Penguins jerseys and clung to miniature Stanley Cups as the Conn Smythe winner entered the family's home.

"(We're) tremendously excited," Gwen said. "It's an honor for him to come to our home and deliver our season tickets."

"I've been a fan since 1972," Davidson said. "I've been going to as many games as possible since then."

We think that Randy is a very good coach. Our players think that Randy is a very good coach. We think that he's going to get the most out of this group. With the addition of the two assistants, a bit of a different dynamic, we're very comfortable that this is a quality coaching staff that's going to maximize the potential of this team.
