Members of the 2009 Stanley Cup Champion
Pittsburgh Penguins will conduct a special clinic for Pittsburgh and Washington, DC youth prior to The White House ceremony hosted by President Obama honoring the 2009 Stanley Cup Champion.
The clinic will take place at the Fort Dupont Ice Arena, the only public indoor ice arena located in Washington, DC, and the only skating facility in the area that provides free or subsidized skating and hockey programs to children. The event will be a central component of the NHL’s partnership with United We Serve, President Obama’s call to service challenging all Americans to engage in sustained, meaningful service to meet growing social needs.
