I have watched the last three games with a mix of deep anger and anxiety. Between the threat against Alex Ovechkin (truly disgusting) and the frustration of watching the Caps take the lead, lose the lead, play like mummies and then play their game, this series has been a full on roller coaster and I'm getting nauseous from the ride.
Losing in OT in Game 3 wasn't so bad as we played poorly. But I thought the Caps played well in Game 5. They should have won. Shoulda, coulda, woulda.
By the way, why didn't the ref call interference on Boyd Gordon prior to Evgeni Malkin's goal?
I don't think any of the Caps' crew will read this, but if they do... Can you remind Alexander Semin and Mike Green that we are about to lose four games in a row? Semin looks totally lost and Green...
I would like to raise my hat to The Great 8, Alex Ovechkin, and the Fantastic Fedorov, Sergei Fedorov. They are truly amazing and I'm thrilled they are Caps.
We are better than last year... But can we dig even deeper now to pull it off by Monday night?
