Teddy Sears - Keep History From Repeating Itself

Saturday, 05.09.2009 / 10:11 PM / NHL Celeb Blogs

Blog 12 - Saturday, May 9

I grew up watching the Caps, and year in and year out the Caps would face the Penguins in the playoffs, and they would somehow implode.

I am beginning to feel that disgusting, familiar feeling that I used to feel while sitting in my parents' living room in Maryland watching the games on TV, that inescapable feeling that I'm watching history repeat itself.

I only bring this up in the hopes that someone out there affiliated with the team reads this and decides that this is NOT the year that the Capitals are going to repeat history, and instead choose to banish those demons and KICK SOME BUTT in Game 6. I still believe in this team, and that victory is within our grasp, one game at a time.

GO CAPS!

Quote of the Day

He seemed to thrive on his own and didn't really need any push from me. I certainly don't want to get in the way of the coaches. You see how that goes sometimes. I never really worried about it and just enjoyed the ride.
