Capitals' Green on NHL Live

Washington Capitals defenseman Mike Green, one of the finalists for the 2009 Norris trophy, will join NHL Live Thursday at 12:45 p.m. ET.

Green, coming off an excellent regular season in which he scored 31 goals and 42 assists in 68 games, is a finalist for the Norris, awarded to the League's top defenseman, with Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings and Zdeno Chara of the Boston Bruins.

Green and the Caps are facing a tough road in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, trailing the New York Rangers 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Also joining host Rob Simpson on NHL Live (12-2 p.m. ET) Thursday are Eric Perrin of the Atlanta Thrashers in studio at 1 p.m, the CBC's Mark Lee, Deb Placey of MSG Network and E.J. Hradek of ESPN The Magazine.
