Is Sean Avery a Cap? I'm beginning to wonder after his string of ridiculous penalties.

It's sickening to watch him give The Caps so many opportunities and have nothing come of them. One of these times the Caps will actually capitalize. That is, if they can manage to put one past Lundqvist. That guy’s playing a career series.

I'm stunned that after outshooting the Rangers 2 to 1 that the Caps didn't put more points on the board. The guy's a brick wall, and the only way the Caps are going to score goals is by blasting it past him (Ovechkin) or sneaking it in (Semin). But hey, if that doesn't work, Avery can always keep getting penalties.

Game 5 Friday night. I'll be there.

Quote of the Day

Life's about opportunity and how you respond to that opportunity, and obviously he must have some swagger about him, some confidence about him, because he was solid. He made some good saves. He was 6-foot-3 on every shot, which is a good thing for a goalie. He played well. We got a win.
