Jussi Jokinen's goal is the latest regulation game-winner in Stanley Cup Playoffs history. The previous record holder was Bob Pulford, who scored with two seconds left in Game 1 of the 1964 Stanley Cup Final to give the Maple Leafs a win over the Red Wings. The goal is a good omen for the Canes, as Toronto went on to win the Stanley Cup.

Latest regulation GWGs in playoff history:

2009 - Jussi Jokinen (Hurricanes): 19:59

1964 - Bob Pulford (Maple Leafs): 19:58 *

1987 - Mikko Makela (Islanders): 19:57

1997 - Eric Lindros (Flyers): 19:53

1989 - Don Barber (North Stars): 19:53

* Won Stanley Cup

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
