Cisco All-Access Pregame Show will preview Saturday night trio of Game 2 matchups

Saturday, 04.18.2009 / 1:01 AM / 2009 Playoffs Conference Quarterfinals

By NHL.com Staff

Eighty-seven percent of teams winning Game 2 in a postseason advance to the next round. That's nearly nine of 10 times. That stat and a trio of Saturday night Game 2 matchups will highlight today's edition of NHL.com's Cisco All-Access Pregame Show. The show airs on NHL.com Saturday beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET, originating from the NHL Store Powered by Reebok in New York.

Co-hosts Heidi Androl and Rob Simpson will be breaking down three games: Columbus at Detroit (a 6 p.m. ET start and the first Stanley Cup Playoff game carried live by NHL Network in the U.S.), Montreal at Boston (8 p.m. ET, Versus, CBC, RDS) and Calgary at Chicago (TSN, also NHL Game Center Live). There will be preview reports on location from Boston and Chicago.

Heidi is a popular correspondent for Kings Vision presented by the Los Angeles Kings, while Rob hosts NHL Network's fantasy hockey shows and regularly sits in the host chair for NHL Live! radio.

If you live in New York or plan to visit, come to the midtown NHL Store and join in what is sure to be an energetic audience. Playoff hockey has a way of getting fans excited, and this show shouldn't be any different. The show tapes at 11 a.m. every day there is a playoff game.

You won't want to miss the latest news and analysis from Saturday night's games and every day during the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
