Hello All!

I'm really excited to have been asked to do this blog for the Ducks this year. I've been following the team for almost exactly two years and I'm now an avid Ducks fan.   This year I'm hoping to follow the Ducks' progress in the Playoffs and write about it in an entertaining yet somewhat informative way. I may not be an expert but I know more than most people would give me credit for. For some reason, most boys can't seem to understand I'm not interested in the game so that I can 'look cute' in a Ducks jersey; I'm interested in it because I actually love the game.

Now I'm supposed to talk about my favorite players. Well, I have different favorites on different days but in general I stick to Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry & Bobby Ryan. They rarely disappoint. It's pretty self-explanatory why I chose those three . I have a soft spot for Jiggy and all the players that have been on the team the whole time I've been watching as well.

This year, I've had the opportunity to see a lot of games live which has been really awesome but last year I watched most of the games on TV.  In fact, I now know all the words to the 'Free Credit Report' jingle and can imitate Jiggy saying "Hi, I'm J.S Giguere from the Anaheim Ducks and welcome to my loft" like no other. All you fans that watched from home last year will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about!

Anyway I hope you guys will follow my blog and more importantly enjoy it!

Quote of the Day

It's an incredible feeling just to see it go in and see the Joe go pretty crazy.  Ever since the introduction there, I was kind of feeling the nerves, and to put that one home, I started to feel comfortable and I thought my play started to pick up.
