Hurricanes advance to second round of WHL playoffs with win over Blades

SASKATOON - Colton Sceviour had two goals and an assist and the Lethbridge Hurricanes held on for a 4-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday in Game 7 of their Western Hockey League first-round playoff series.

Zach Boychuk had a goal and an assist while Luca Sbisa also scored for Lethbridge, which will face the top-ranked Calgary Hitmen in the second round.

Chris Langkow and Derek Hulak had a goal and an assist for Saskatoon, while Burke Gallimore also scored.

Juha Metsola made 24 saves for Lethbridge while Braden Holtby stopped 22 shots for Saskatoon.
