NHL Network to air Brodeur's record-setting attempt

Monday, 03.16.2009 / 7:30 PM / Brodeur Watch

New York, NY (March 16, 2009) – NHL Network will provide live coverage Tuesday night when goaltender Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils attempts to set a National Hockey League record by collecting his 552nd career victory.  Brodeur and the Devils will host the Chicago Blackhawks at Prudential Center in Newark, with coverage beginning at 7 p.m., ET.

The NHL Network feed will be available in Canada and the U.S. except for the New Jersey/New York area, where the game can be seen on MSG Plus, and in Chicago, where it can be viewed on Comcast SportsNet-Chicago.
Brodeur tied Hall of Famer Patrick Roy for the career victories record Saturday night when the Devils defeated the Montreal Canadiens, 3-1.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
