The Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues swapped minor-league defenseman Wednesday with the Pens acquiring Andy Wozniewski from St. Louis in exchange for Danny Richmond.

Richmond, 24, went 3-14-17 with 108 penalty minutes in 55 games with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. A former second-round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes (2003), the 6-foot, 194-pounder has three assists and 75 penalty minutes in 49 NHL games with Carolina and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.

— Arizona Coyotes director of amateur scouting Tim Bernhardt regarding the coincidence that six of the organization's top prospects are sons of former NHL players
