Report: Canucks waive Sanford

According to CKNW in Vancouver, the Canucks have placed goalie Curtis Sanford on waivers.

Sanford had been sharing the goaltending duties with Jason Labarbera and Cory Schneider while
Roberto Luongo has been recovering from injury.

If Sanford goes unclaimed, he will be sent to the AHL's Manitoba Moose. CKNW also reported the Canucks will attempt to trade Sanford should he go unclaimed.

Sanford, 29, is 7-8 this season with a 2.59 goals-against average and .906 save percentage.
