OTTAWA - Canada's world junior team is planning to honour the memory of Luc Bourdon.
The Canadian players will wear 'LB' stickers on their helmets during their tournament opener against the Czech Republic later Friday.
In addition, none of the team's players will don the No. 6 that Bourdon wore during the 2006 and 2007 world junior tounrnaments.
Bourdon was killed at age 21 in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.
Canada won gold both years Bourdon played on the world junior team.
