Chillin' with ... Ben Eager

Friday, 12.19.2008 / 11:00 AM / Chillin'

By Marcie Garcia - NHL.com Correspondent

What's on your iPod now? "I've got a little bit of everything. Some T.I., some Tragically Hip, a little Nickleback, I'm into the rap right now."

What are your favorite web-sites? "I'm a big Internet guy, I'm always surfing. I'm on Facebook, I'm on NHL.com, of course. I keep up to date with what's going on in the League and in sports. I also go to ESPN.com, and TSN.ca."

Who would play you in a movie about your life? "Probably Brad Pitt just because we're both good-looking guys."

Do you eat in, order in or go out? "Actually, I do cook a bit, but I'm getting sick of chicken, so I've been eating out more recently. Chicken is my specialty -- I just usually fire up the barbeque."

Favorite TV show? "My favorite TV show is Prison Break and I also watch Entourage. Though, Prison Break is starting to drag on because he's always escaping from different prisons. I don't really follow it as closely as I was."

Favorite movie? "I was a big fan of that Batman movie -- The Dark Knight was pretty good. I saw it three times."

What Hollywood starlette would you go out with? "Jessica Biel or Kate Beckinsale."

Favorite sports team of all time (excluding your team)? "I used to like the Pittsburgh Penguins. Oh no. Yeah, OK, the Penguins."

Favorite sports figure of all time (excluding yourself)? "Michael Jordan."
Quote of the Day

Your team is going to want to recapture the feeling. What they're going to have to figure out is they're going to have to rewrite the story. Because you're going to rewrite the story doesn't mean you want a different end. It's just that you're going to have to learn that there's different challenges to get there, and if you're going to try and tap the same feeling, it ain't going to happen.
