It will be a reunion of sorts for a few players when the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Philadelphia Flyers (7 p.m. ET, VERSUS, TSN2), one of six games on Tuesday's schedule.

Lightning forward Steve Downie, a 2005 first-round draft pick by the Flyers, will face his former teammates for the first time since he and defenseman Steve Eminger were traded by Philadelphia to Tampa Bay for defenseman Matt Carle last month.

Also, Lightning forward Vaclav Prospal began his NHL career in Philadelphia, and finished last season with the Flyers, registering 14 points in 18 regular-season games, and 13 points in 17 playoff games during the Flyers' run to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Two other early games feature the Southeast Division-leading Washington Capitals renewing their divisional rivalry with the Florida Panthers, and the Atlanta Thrashers visiting the Bell Centre in Montreal to face the Canadiens (7:30 ET, TSN, RDS).

Later, the Calgary Flames, who are one point behind the Vancouver Canucks for first place in the Northwest Division, battle the Dallas Stars; the Los Angeles Kings play their lone road game in a five-game stretch when they face the Phoenix Coyotes; and the Toronto Maple Leafs play their second game in California in two nights when they visit the San Jose Sharks.

Here's what to watch:

* Tampa Bay right wing Martin St. Louis, who has scored 30 goals four times in his career, has just 5 goals in 23 games this season and is on pace to score just 18 this season. St. Louis, who has scored just 2 goals in his last 11 games, is second on the team with 58 shots on goal.

* Flyers left wing Simon Gagne, who had a nine-game point streak snapped Friday but started a new one with an assist against Toronto on Saturday, leads the League's left wings with 31 points. Gagne, who has had eight multiple-point games this season, is on a 114-point pace, which would obliterate his career high of 79 points.

* Florida goalie Craig Anderson, who will make his third consecutive start Tuesday night, leads the League with a .948 save percentage. Anderson, who started the season as Tomas Vokoun's backup, has just one regulation loss in eight decisions this season while playing for a team in 12th place in the Eastern Conference.

* Capitals left wing Nicklas Backstrom, who was a runner-up for last season's Calder Trophy, is second on the team and in the Southeast Division with 16 assists. Backstrom, who averages 18:48 of ice time per game, has just 1 assist in his last four games.

* Atlanta left wing Slava Kozlov, who has scored 20 goals 10 times in his NHL career, leads the team with 12 goals. Kozlov, 36, had 41 points last season, but already has 21 points in 23 games.   
* Canadiens center Tomas Plekanec, who has won the most road faceoffs in the Northeast Division with 123, leads the team and is tied for second in the division with 220 faceoff wins. Plekanec has 5 goals this season, but just one at home. 

* A fast start is crucial for Dallas, which sits in last place in the Western Conference with 20 points. The Stars are 7-2-1 when scoring first and 6-0 when leading after one period, but 1-9-3 when allowing the first goal and 2-9-3 when trailing after one period.

* Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf, who was a Norris Trophy finalist last season, is second among Northwest Division defensemen with 16 points. Phaneuf, who leads the Western Conference with an average ice time of 28:01, has a minus-7 rating.

* Los Angeles center Anze Kopitar, who scored 52 goals in his first two NHL seasons, has just 5 goals in his first 23 games this season. Kopitar, who entered this season a career minus-27, is just a minus-1 this season.

* Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle, who is averaging the fifth-most ice time among Phoenix defensemen at 16:24 per game, leads Coyotes defensemen with 12 points. Yandle, who had 7 assists in 43 games as a rookie last season, has 11 assists in 19 games this season.

* Maple Leafs right wing Lee Stempniak, who had 38 points in 80 games last season, has 16 points in 18 games, including 3 points in the four games since he was traded from the St. Louis Blues to the Maple Leafs. Stempniak, who played for new Maple Leafs President and General Manager Brian Burke on the U.S. team at the 2008 World Championship, had a goal and 2 assists in his last game against the Sharks.

* San Jose, which is the only team in the League with 40 points, doesn't have a regulation loss at home this season. The Sharks, who have scored the most home goals in the League with 51, have an 8-1 record in games they have trailed after the first period.
