Chillin' with ... Shean Donovan

Friday, 11.21.2008 / 10:00 PM / Chillin'
By Dan Rosen  - NHL.com Staff Writer

What's on your iPod now? "I don't really have an iPod. I'm old school. I hardly had a cassette player, let alone an iPod. I wouldn't even know how to work one."

What are your favorite web-sites? "Web sites? Hmm. I'm not really a surfer. I hit my e-mail and I try to act like I know about stocks, but I don't know anything. I check different sites to see what Warren Buffet is saying even though I don't understand what it is that he's saying."

Who would play you in a movie about your life? "Who would play me? I would like to think somebody cool, but I'm sure it would be some dorky actor. It would be Urkel or someone like that probably."

Do you cook, order in or go out? "Probably a combination of all three. My wife cooks, so I guess I can't say I cook. When it's my turn we dine out. Even with kids, I don't care. We're pretty simple. McDonald's is a big one. My kids are 3 and 4, two little boys, so I have to go to McDonald's. They eat chicken McNuggets, hamburgers, fries. They like anything at McDonald's."

Favorite TV show? "I guess reruns of Seinfeld. I'm pretty simple for liking Hockey Night in Canada, too."

Favorite movie? "Braveheart, Dumb and Dumber and Shawshank Redemption. They're all a little different."

What Hollywood starlette would you go out with? "Oh, they could pick a lot for me. It wouldn't really matter, actually. Probably Halle Berry, though."

Favorite sports team of all time (excluding your team)? "Growing up it was the Bruins. Now, obviously, I don't cheer for the Bruins, so it's Brazil in the World Cup."

Favorite sports figure of all time (excluding yourself)? "It's something a little different, but probably Terry Fox (one-legged Canadian marathon runner). He wasn't a real sports figure, but he was pretty awesome. I guess with a team thing, I was a Rick Middleton fan growing up."
