The Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks will each be sporting a new, sleek look Saturday night.
For the first time this season, both Pacific Division teams will be wearing their third jerseys, which are predominantly black.
The Sharks' third jersey even has a name. It's called "BlackArmor," and they will wear it for every Thursday home game for the rest of the season as well as two road games. They will wear it a total of 14 times.
"BlackArmor" is sponsored by Seagate, a company that also sponsors the Sharks' Player of the Month and Player of the Year awards.
"It is a distinctive concept and I am confident that our fan base, and those watching around the NHL, will love the look on our 'BlackArmor' nights," Sharks Executive Vice President of Business Operations Malcolm Bordelon said.
While the Sharks unveiled their new jersey Friday morning, the Kings will unveil theirs during the first intermission of Saturday's game against the Colorado Avalanche at the Staple Center.
The Kings, partnered with the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, will hold a special fashion show during the 17-minute intermission.
