MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Defenceman Rob Kwiet assisted on three goals - including the game-winner by Andrei Loktionov - as the Windsor Spitfires edged the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors 5-4 Friday night to extend their winning streak to 13 games in the Ontario Hockey League.

Kwiet, traded to the Spitfires (19-1-0-0) by the Majors midway through last season, set up Loktionov's sixth goal of the season: a power-play marker with just over three minutes remaining in the third period.

"It was a little awkward at first coming back here," said Kwiet, who also assisted on goals by Dale Mitchell and Ryan Ellis. "But I got over it and focused on the game. We're a very system-oriented team and when we play our systems, we're pretty good."

Connor O'Donnell and Greg Nemisz had the other goals for Windsor, the top-ranked major junior hockey team in Canada.

Jordan Mayer scored twice for the Majors (7-9-0-0), who lost their fourth in a row. Anthony Tapper and Jared Gomes had the other goals for Mississauga, which led 4-3 going into the third period but allowed two power-play goals in the last eight minutes of the game.

Andrew Engelage stopped 26 shots in the Spitfires net, while Mississauga goaltender Chris Carrozzi made 47 saves.
