The Stars got a big lift from Mike Ribeiro, who had 20 of his 27 goals and 52 of his team-high 83 points at even strength.

Dallas' record in its last 12 regular-season games, after center Brad Richards was acquired from Tampa Bay on trade-deadline day. Richards had five assists in his first game, a 7-4 win at Chicago, but just six points in the last 11 contests.

Scheduling

The Stars have only one trip as long as five games this season. For the second straight season, they have an early swing through the New York area, where they play the Rangers, Islanders and Devils in a four-day span. They also end the season with three consecutive road games, winding up in Anaheim.
