NEW YORK – NHL defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom and goaltender Chris Osgood of the Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings will make a guest appearance on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, June 10 at 11:35 p.m., ET. The pair will appear with the Stanley Cup, the oldest and most revered trophy in all professional sports.
The Detroit Red Wings captured their 11th Stanley Cup and fourth since 1997. Lidstrom, a four-time Stanley Cup winner, is the first European captain to hoist the Stanley Cup. Osgood earned his third Stanley Cup, finishing the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 14-4 record, including three shutouts.
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” is the top-rated late-night talk show.
