Stamford, CONN. — VERSUS, the exclusive cable television home of the NHL, today announced the following addition to its 2008 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Quarter-Final round schedule: the Montreal Canadiens will face off against the Boston Bruins from the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston for Game 6 of their series on Saturday, April 19, at 7 p.m. ET.  Montreal leads the best-of-seven series 3-2. The network was originally scheduled to air Game 6 between the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins, but the Penguins swept the series earlier in the week to advance to the Conference Semifinal round.  Immediately following the Montreal/Boston game, VERSUS will air Hockey Central followed by Game 6 of the Minnesota Wild/Colorado Avalanche series at 10 p.m. ET.  Colorado leads that best-of-seven series 3-2.

VERSUS’ coverage in the Conference Quarter-Finals is non-exclusive and subject to local blackouts.
