Chicoutimi forward Francis Pare named QMJHL offensive player of the week

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - Chicoutimi Sagueneens forward Francis Pare was named Quebec Major Junior Hockey League offensive player of the week Monday.

Pare had three goals and four assists in three games last week. Jakub Voracek of Halifax, Dean Ouellet of Cape Breton and Brett Morrison of P.E.I. were also considered.

Cape Breton Screaming Eagles goaltender Olivier Bellavance-Roy was named defensive player of the week.

In three games last week, he had three wins - including two shutouts - a 1.00 goals-against average and .958 save percentage.

Lewiston goaltender Peter Delmas and Chicoutimi defencemen Mathieu Bolduc and Christopher Guay were also considered.
