Oulahen and Miller help Grand Rapids ground Marlies in 6-3 win

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (CP) - Ryan Oulahen scored a goal and two assists, Kip Miller had three assists and the Grand Rapids Griffins trounced the Toronto Marlies 6-3 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Besides Oulahen and Miller, the Griffins collected singles from Matt Hussey, Eric Himelfarb, Scott Barney, Darrly Bootland and Jamie Tardif, all of whom - with the exception of Barney - each added one assist apiece.

Erik Westrum scored two for the Marlies and Robbie Earl added one marker to open the scoring for Toronto (18-24-2-3).

Stefan Liv collects the win, making 30 saves for Grand Rapids (20-20-4-2), while backup Jean-Francois Racine suffered the loss with a 33-save performance in net for Toronto.
