Ducks get Brown from Vancouver

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -The Anaheim Ducks acquired forward Mike Brown from the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday in exchange for defenseman Nathan McIver.

The 23-year-old Brown has one assist and 85 penalty minutes - tied for second on the Canucks - this season. In 39 games over two NHL seasons, in has one assist and one goal with 140 penalty minutes.

The 24-year-old McIver appeared in 18 games for Anaheim this season, with one assist and 36 penalty minutes.
