Missed majority of 1999-2000 due to foot injury in training camp, September, 1999. Signed as a free agent by Dallas, July 2, 2002. Missed majority of 2007-08 due to shoulder surgery, December 5, 2007. Traded to Pittsburgh by Dallas for Darryl Sydor, November 16, 2008. Officially announced his retirement, September 3, 2009.
