OTTAWA - Ottawa Senators have dealt forward Alex Chiasson to the Calgary Flames in exchange for defenceman Patrick Sieloff.

Chiasson, 25, was acquired by Ottawa from the Stars on July 1, 2014 in the five-player trade that sent forward Jason Spezza to Dallas. He scored 19 goals and added 21 assists in 153 games over two seasons with the Senators.

Sieloff, 22, made his NHL debut with Calgary last season. He scored the game-winning goal in his lone NHL game as the Flames beat the Minnesota Wild 2-1 on April 9.

Sieloff had scored two goals, nine assists and 54 penalty minutes in 52 games with the American Hockey League's Stockton Heat.

The six-foot-one, 205-pound native of Superior, Mich., was Calgary's second-round selection (42nd overall) in the 2012 draft.
