NASHVILLE -- Hockey players won't be the only stars in the spotlight in Nashville this weekend.

Some of the hottest names in country music are excited to play their part during 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend.

"I'm excited," said Lee Brice, who will take the stage from Bridgestone Winter Park's IntelliCentrics Outdoor Concert Series as part of NHL All-Star Friday Night Live in Music City (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN). "A big time at night out on the street, and I think we're going to do a couple of songs on the ice for the game. It's such a great opportunity, and it's so cool that Nashville gets to be such a big part of this."

Brice will follow Aaron Lewis, who is excited about for a weekend featuring hockey and music.

"Nashville is just a great city. It's cool to have something that's so known for in the north be down here in the south," Lewis said. "It always makes it more fun. You add music to it, and it'll be a good time. This city is going to be hopping all weekend, for sure."

County music superstar Vince Gill will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Game Sunday (5 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports).
