The Drummondville Voltigeurs fired head coach Martin Raymond and assistant Louis Robitaille late Saturday night.

After starting the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season 10-2-0, the Voltigeurs went on a seven-game losing streak. Drummondville has won just three of its last 10 games and are 13-12-0 this year.

The Voltigeurs fell 5-1 to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens earlier Saturday and sit in ninth place.

General manager Dominic Ricard indicated that he didn't sense any emotion from the team. There was no announcement as to who would replace Raymond.

Raymond was in his third season behind the bench for the Voltigeurs. He was a former assistant with the American Hockey League's Hamilton Bulldogs in 2009-2010 before joining Guy Boucher and the Tampa Bay Lightning the following season.

In 161 games under Raymond, Drummondville was 82-71-8.
