Dylan Strome, the third pick at the 2015 NHL Draft, signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Arizona Coyotes on Monday, general manager Don Maloney announced.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Strome led the Ontario Hockey League in scoring for the 2014-15 season. The 18-year-old center had 129 points (45 goals) in 68 games for the Erie Otters.

"We are very pleased to sign Dylan to an entry-level contract," Maloney said. "Dylan is a very talented player and all he's done his entire career is lead his teams and leagues in scoring and win championships. He will be an important player for us in the future and a key building block for this franchise."

Strome, whose older brother Ryan plays for the New York Islanders, is 6-foot-3, 187 pounds and shoots left-handed.

Connor McDavid, the No. 1 pick at the 2015 draft, signed with the Edmonton Oilers on July 3, two days after Jack Eichel, the No. 2 pick, signed with the Buffalo Sabres.
