QMJHL Roundup: Kostalek nets OT winner as Oceanic edge Remparts to force Game 7

QUEBEC CITY, Que. - Jan Kostalek scored the winner 1:03 into overtime as the Rimouski Oceanic staved off elimination with a 5-4 win against the Quebec Remparts in Game 6 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Game 7 takes place on Monday in Rimouski to decide the President Cup/Guy Lafleur Trophy winner.

Kostalek also scored in regulation and added an assist as the Oceanic overcame a 4-1 deficit. Alexis Loiseau struck twice and forced overtime with a late third-period goal while Samuel Laberge added the other.

Adam Erne had a pair of goals for the Remparts, who are hosting this year's Memorial Cup. Massimo Carozza and Matt Murphy rounded out the attack.

Philippe Desrosiers got the win in goal for Rimouski after making six saves in relief of Louis-Philip Guindon. Guindon started the game and turned aside 8-of-11 shots in 26:54. Zachary Fucale kicked out 35 shots for Quebec.

The Oceanic went 0 for 3 with the man advantage while the Remparts were also scoreless on two chances.
