Bobby Sanguinetti scores in overtime as Comets beat Bulldogs 3-2

HAMILTON - Bobby Sanguinetti scored 4:02 into overtime as the Utica Comets edged the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-2 on Saturday night in American Hockey League action.

Cal O'Reilly had a first-period goal for the Comets (43-19-7), with Frank Corrado tying the game in the third for the Vancouver Canucks affiliate. Utica has now won nine of its last 10 games.

Charles Hudon opened the scoring for Hamilton (32-26-12) with Drayson Bowman adding another 1:34 into the third for the Montreal Canadiens' farm club.

Joe Cannata turned aside 27 shots for the win while Joey MacDonald made 25 saves for the Bulldogs.

Neither team scored on four power-play chances.
