MORE DEALS CONTINUE AHEAD OF TRADE DEADLINE

Several deals were completed on Sunday in advance of the 2015 NHL Trade Deadline, which is Monday at 3 p.m. ET:

* The Washington Capitals acquired forward Curtis Glencross from the Calgary Flames for a second- and third-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.

* The New York Rangers acquired defensemen Keith Yandle, Chris Summers and a fourth-round draft pick in 2016 from the Arizona Coyotes for defenseman John Moore, forward prospect Anthony Duclair, a second-round pick and a conditional first-round pick.

* The Rangers also acquired forward Carl Klingberg from the Winnipeg Jets for forward Lee Stempniak, and center James Sheppard from the San Jose Sharks for a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft.

* The Detroit Red Wings acquired forward Erik Cole and a conditional third-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft from the Dallas Stars for defenseman Mattias Backman, center Mattias Janmark and a second-round pick in this year's draft.

ANAHEIM’S GIBSON CONTINUES STRONG PLAY IN WIN AGAINST DALLAS

John Gibson made a regular season career-high 39 saves to backstop the Anaheim Ducks to a 3-1 victory against the Dallas Stars. Anaheim has won four straight road games and is 40-17-7 (87 points) this season. The Ducks moved within two points of the idle Nashville Predators, who own the League’s top record of 41-15-7 (89 points).

* In his ninth straight start, Gibson stopped 39 of 40 shots he faced and is 8-5-0 this season with a 2.51 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage. Gibson is 5-1-0 in his past six decisions.

* Ryan Getzlaf (1-1-2) scored his 20th goal on a breakaway and added his team-leading 41st assist to record his 20th multi-point game of the season. The performance also brought Getzlaf's career point total to 669 (203-466-669), allowing him to tie Paul Kariya for second on the Ducks' all-time points list.

* Corey Perry (1-1-2) scored his team-leading 27th goal and added his 18th assist to post his 11th multi-point performance of the season.

* Clayton Stoner (1-0-1) scored his first goal of the season, which also stood as the second game-winning goal of his career.

VANCOUVER OVERCOMES LATE RALLY BY ST. LOUIS

After their 5-2 lead was erased in the third period, Radim Vrbata (0-2-2) netted the shootout-winner to propel the Vancouver Canucks to a 6-5 victory against the St. Louis Blues. The Canucks are 36-23-3 (75 points) this season and moved five points ahead of the idle Calgary Flames, who rank third in the Pacific Division standings with a record of 33-25-4 (70 points).

* Vrbata posted his second multi-assist performance of the season. Additionally, Vrbata notched his first game-deciding goal of the season.

* Yannick Weber (1-1-2) scored his sixth goal and added his eighth assist to post his second multi-point performance of the season.

* Ronalds Kenins (0-2-2) recorded his second multi-assist game of the season.

* Henrik Sedin (1-0-1) netted his 13th goal of the season and extended his point streak to a season-high seven games (4-7-11). Jannik Hansen (1-0-1) scored his 13th goal of the season and extended his point streak to four games (2-2-4), which matched a season-high.

* Eddie Lack made 34 saves through 65 minutes and additionally stopped one of two shooters in the shootout. He is 8-8-2 this season with a 2.64 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. Lack is 2-1 in shootout scenarios, where he has stopped five of eight shooters for a .625 shootout save percentage.

* The Canucks are 8-2-2 in their past 12 games against the Blues.

PITTSBURGH WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT, INCH CLOSER TO METROPOLITAN DIVISION LEAD ...

The Pittsburgh Penguins scored three consecutive power-play goals in the second period en route to their 5-3 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Pittsburgh has won four straight games and is 36-17-9 (81 points) this season. The Penguins moved within one point of the idle New York Rangers, who rank second in the Metropolitan Division standings with a record of 38-17-6 (82 points).

* Evgeni Malkin (2-1-3) scored twice and added his 38th assist to record his third consecutive three-point game and his sixth such performance of the season. The performance, which included his team-leading ninth power-play goal of the season, extended Malkin’s point streak to five games (5-6-11). According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Malkin has also recorded at least one point in all 10 career games he has played against Columbus (6-8-14).

* Sidney Crosby (0-2-2) recorded his 12th multi-assist game of the season and extended his point streak to four games (1-5-6). Kris Letang (0-2-2) posted his 10th multi-assist performance of the season.

* Marc-Andre Fleury made 22 saves to earn his third straight win and is 29-13-6 this season with a 2.19 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage.

* Derrick Pouliot (1-0-1) netted the second goal of his career on a power-play. The tally was also the first power-play goal of his career, while each of Pouliot’s career goals have stood as game-winners.

* The Penguins are 11-2-2 in their past 15 games against the Blue Jackets.

DID YOU KNOW?

Malkin has recorded three consecutive games with three or more points for the second time in his career; he posted 0-3-3, 2-1-3 and 1-3-4 through three straight games from Feb. 7-10, 2008.

* According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin are the other players to record multiple three-game streaks with three or more points since the 2007-08 season. Crosby posted 3-2-5, 2-1-3 and 2-1-3 from Nov. 28-Dec. 3, 2009 and 0-3-3, 1-2-3 and 1-3-4 from April 3-8, 2010. Ovechkin posted 2-1-3, 1-2-3 and 2-1-3 from Oct. 1-6, 2009 and 2-1-3, 1-2-3 and 1-2-3 from Dec. 19-26, 2009.

... WHILE CAPTIALS KEEP PACE WITH SHUTOUT VICTORY AGAINST MAPLE LEAFS

Alex Ovechkin (2-1-3) posted his fifth three-point game of the season and Braden Holtby stopped all 32 shots he faced to power the Washington Capitals to a 4-0 shutout win against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Capitals have earned a point in 15 of their past 18 home games (13-3-2) and are 34-20-10 (78 points) overall this season. Washington occupies the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference and moved within three points of the Pittsburgh Penguins, who rank third in the Metropolitan Divisions standings with a record of 36-17-9 (81 points).

* Washington is 9-1-1 in its past 11 home games against Toronto.

* Alex Ovechkin (2-1-3) opened the scoring 33 seconds into the game, added a second tally and his 24th assist to record his fifth three-point game of the season. The performance, which included Ovechkin's League-leading ninth game-winning goal, brought his League-leading goal total to 41 this season. Ovechkin has also earned 53 points (30-23-53) in 36 career games versus the Maple Leafs.

* Ovechkin, who began his career during the 2005-06 season, has reached the 40-goal mark for the second consecutive season and for the seventh time in his 10 NHL seasons. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Ovechkin is the only active player with seven seasons of 40 or more goals; Jaromir Jagr is the closest to him with six such seasons. Since 2005-06, the closest to him is three such seasons by Marian Gaborik and Steven Stamkos.

* Ovechkin also became the 10th player in NHL history to record 40 or more goals in seven of his first 10 NHL seasons, joining Brett Hull, Luc Robitaille, Mario Lemieux, Dale Hawerchuk, Jari Kurri, Michel Goulet, Wayne Gretzky, Mike Bossy and Marcel Dionne.

* Holtby made 32 saves to record his seventh shutout of the season and is 30-15-9 this season with a 2.16 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage. Holtby is the second goaltender in Capitals history to record seven shutouts in one season; Jim Carey holds the Capitals' record of nine shutouts during the 1995-96 season. Holtby is 4-1-1 in six career decisions versus Toronto.

* Nicklas Backstrom (0-1-1) registered his League-leading 47th assist of the season. Backstrom (18-47-65) and Ovechkin (41-24-65) share a four-player tie for the League-lead in points this season. In fact, the League's top seven scorers this season are all separated by one point.

JAGR LEADS PANTHERS PAST LIGHTNING, TIES ESPOSITO ON ALL-TIME GOALS LIST

Jaromir Jagr (1-1-2) recorded his eighth multi-point game of the season to lead the Florida Panthers to a 4-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Panthers avoided the season series sweep versus the Lightning and are 28-22-13 (69 points) this season. Florida moved within two points of the idle Boston Bruins, who occupy the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference with a record of 31-22-9 (71 points).

* Jagr opened the scoring with his 12th goal and added his 19th assist. Jagr's first goal as a member of the Panthers was also the 717th of his career and allowed him to tie Phil Esposito for fifth on the NHL's all-time goals list.

* Jonathan Huberdeau (0-3-3) posted his third three-point game of the season.

* Aaron Ekblad (1-0-1) scored his 10th goal of the season on a power-play, which also stood as his fourth power-play goal and fourth game-winning goal of the season. With 10 goals, Ekblad tied Ed Jovanovski for the Panthers record of goals in a season by a rookie defenseman. Jovanovski potted 10 goals for the Panthers through 70 games during his 1995-96 rookie season.

* Al Montoya made 20 saves and is 5-6-2 this season with a 2.98 goals-against average and a .891 save percentage. Montoya also stopped a penalty shot attempt by Tyler Johnson en route to the victory.

* Brad Boyes (1-0-1) scored his 11th goal of the season, which was also the 200th of his NHL career.

LADD LIFTS JETS PAST KINGS

Andrew Ladd (2-0-2) recorded his third multi-goal game of the season to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a 5-2 victory against the Los Angeles Kings. The Jets occupy the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference and are 32-20-12 (76 points) this season. Winnipeg moved within three points of the idle Chicago Blackhawks, who rank third in the Central Division standings with a record of 37-21-5 (79 points).

* Ladd’s performance extended his point streak to three games (2-2-4). The first marker also stood as Ladd's team-leading fifth game-winning goal of the season.

* The Jets have earned points in seven consecutive home games (5-0-2) dating to a 2-1 overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 6. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the previous time the Jets earned points in seven straight home games was when the Atlanta Thrashers posted a record of 7-0-0 in seven consecutive home games from March 2-18, 2007.

* In his career-high fourth consecutive start, Michael Hutchinson made 18 saves and is 19-7-5 this season with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. Hutchinson has earned points in a career-high eight straight decisions (5-0-3) and leads all rookie goaltenders in wins this season.

* Blake Wheeler (1-1-2) scored his 17th goal into an empty net and added his 29th assist to record his 13th multi-point game of the season.

* Mark Scheifele (0-1-1) registered his 26th assist of the season and extended his point streak to four games (2-3-5), which matched a season-high. Michael Frolik (0-1-1) recorded his 20th assist of the season and extended his point streak to four games (2-2-4), which also matched a season-high.

Los Angeles forward Jeff Carter (2-0-2) recorded his fourth multi-goal game of the season... Los Angeles forward Tyler Toffoli (0-2-2) posted his fourth multi-assist performance of the season. ... Tampa Bay defenseman Anton Stralman (1-1-2) posted his ninth multi-point performance of the season. ... Tampa Bay forward Steven Stamkos (1-0-1) scored his team-leading 35th goal of the season and has scored seven times over his past eight games (7-1-8)... Pittsburgh forward Patric Hornqvist (0-1-1) extended his point streak to four games (4-2-6). ... Pittsburgh defenseman Rob Scuderi skated in the 700th game of his NHL career. ... Columbus forward Ryan Johansen (1-1-2) scored his team-leading second shorthanded goal and added his team-leading 33rd assist to post his 12th multi-point performance of the season. ... New York Islanders forward Anders Lee, who led all rookies with seven goals and 15 points (7-8-15) in 15 games, has been named the NHL Rookie of the Month for February. ...
