Miele scores once and adds four assists as Griffins rout Marlies

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Andy Miele had a goal and four assists to lead the Grand Rapids Griffins to a 7-1 rout of the Toronto Marlies on Friday night in American Hockey League action.

Teemu Pulkkinen scored twice for Grand Rapids (13-10-3), while Anthony Mantha, Kevin Porter, Mitch Callahan and Landon Ferraro rounded out the attack.

Connor Brown found the back of the net late in the second period for the Marlies (10-14-3). It was their first regulation loss in the last five games.

Jared Coreau made 22 saves for the Griffins in the win. Antoine Bibeau suffered the loss, turning aside 22 shots for Toronto.

Grand Rapids scored four times on five power-play chances. The Marlies were scoreless on three opportunities with the man advantage.
