Antoine Bibeau earns shutout as Toronto Marlies blank St. John's IceCaps 4-0

TORONTO - Antoine Bibeau stopped all 21 shots he faced as the Toronto Marlies shutout the St. John's IceCaps 4-0 in American Hockey League action on Sunday.

Troy Bodie opened the scoring 43 seconds into the second period, Tyler Biggs, and Byron Froese also scored for the Marlies (10-13-3), and Spencer Abbott added an empty-net goal on a power play with 2:02 remaining in the third period.

Connor Hellebuyck stopped 20 shots for the IceCaps (11-13-6).

Toronto was 2 for 5 on the power play while St. John's failed to take advantage of its six man-advantage situations.
