Hishon, Sgarbossa have two goals each as Monsters beat Bulldogs 4-2

CLEVELAND - Joey Hishon and Michael Sgarbossa each had a pair of goals as the Lake Erie Monsters doubled up the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-2 on Friday in American Hockey League play.

Troy Bourke and Markus Lauridsen added two assists apiece for the Monsters (6-8-3).

T.J. Hensick and Magnus Nygren supplied the scoring for the Bulldogs (8-9-2), who lost for the first time in three outings.

Lake Erie's Sami Aittokallio made 28 saves for the win as Mike Condon turned away 35-of-39 shots for Hamilton.

The Monsters went 0 for 4 on the power play while the Bulldogs scored once on two chances with the man advantage.
