Greg Pateryn scores in overtime as Bulldogs get past Marlies

HAMILTON - Greg Pateryn scored at 4:38 of overtime as the Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Toronto Marlies 2-1 in American Hockey League play on Friday.

Charles Hudon had the Bulldogs' (7-8-2) other goal on the power play. Hamilton is the Montreal Canadiens' AHL affiliate.

David Booth, on loan from the Toronto Maple Leafs for conditioning purposes, found the back of the net on the power play for the Marlies (5-9-2). Booth broke his foot in a pre-season game against the Buffalo Sabres in September.

Toronto has not won a game in its last six matchups.

Mike Condon got the win in net for Hamilton, making 22 saves.

Christopher Gibson kicked out 29 shots in the loss.

The Bulldogs scored once on three power-play chances while the Marlies converted once on five opportunities.
